Course 9 B Subject:
The Train-stations Authors:
Stefanie and Ulrike
We
write about trains and buses. In Berlin we have more then 1000 stations. Trains
are yellow, red and have more space than buses. In a bus can sit and stand 156
persons . In the picture you see the station near our school and a train. Our stations do not all look the same, some are new and some are really old. But they have one thing in common: at all of them you can enter a city-train but not always a train thart goes to other cities. We have new trains and old trains (on the picture is a very old one). The trains come every ten minutes. They have someone who drives them and sometimes someone who checks the tickets. Those who haven’t got one must pay high penalties. The people who check the tickets mostly wear uniforms but there are also some who look “private”.
